Crap in my llife

i have had a crazy sucky last few months. my mother left us, valentines day (especially since my dad's messed up), Zz Lacey and Kitty not speaking, gah. buuuut, i am in skewl, its pretty cool, i like most of my classes... yah. i['ll post more later, i'm bored. byebye

Harry potter

So, when the movie came out, Si-chan and i went to the midnight premier with my brother, dad, and uncle. it was, of course, awesome. it could've been awesome-r tho... >.< the actress who played Luna lovegood was perfect. ^^

Then, Friday, we went to the 'midnight magic party' at barnes and noble. which means, midnight release party for book 7. it was a lot of fun. I dressed as a random Hufflepuff student, Jim as Harry (one of many) Si-chan as Luna, Connor as Ron, and becky (si and connors mom) as Mrs Weasley, well, thats what they said anyway... looked like normal clothes to me. XD sam was our pack mule, she carried our stuff, and blakely was our pack llama (don't ask...) I went there with Sam and my brother. while there we met up with Si-chan. about halfway to 11 we met Blakely. Si-chan's friend from school. we found a quiet (as quiet as it can get in a barnes and noble stuffed with people.) corner to sit in. (by the game stop, which they had gated off, probably because last year people hid from the crowd in there. thus disrupting the Booming buisiness at 10-12 pm. (sarcastic.) we talked and were geeky for a while, till the countdown to midnight started, and noone could understand the announcer. she was sooooo quiet... luckily we found out what number it was when they got a new girl to announce. ^^ we made it into line just in time to be at our letter (H!) (they organised the line by letters, and when they called out a leter over the intercom whoever was in that letter went to go get their book. ^^) we were H, and jim and i went on and on about what H could stand for. i tried to stay on topic, Hogwarts, Hedwig, Hufflepuff, Harry etc. but jim kept doing stuff like, Hamster, Hop, Homer (simpsons), Hamlet etc. >.<> for a rather unpleasant lunch break, and a dinner break.) and it was awesome... if sad... i won't say anything else tho... i have this thing about giving away books... just ask Jessica. XD

Diva

So, i went to the library the other day, and i got this book (among others) called Diva, and i got it expecting it to be only half good. well, it was not at all what i was expecting. it is about this girl named Caitlin, who is an aspiring opera singer. the book starts out with her at an audition to a arts school. you get to lean about her mother troubles, and about how they are revised, and her messed up love life, but it isn't a romance book, as i was expecting it to be. i won't tell you too much, as to not spoil it, but it is actually a really good book. ^^ i think any of you teenage girls out there reading this should read it. its a good story. Alex Flinn does a really good job of keeping you on your toes in suspense. XD

A-Kon

I went to A-kon 18 and to tell the truth it was kinda boring... i didn't know anyone there exept Ami, (http://www.cordeval.com) but she was swamped as always.
so i had no one to talk to...
well, my dad was there, but he doesn't know the anime i know, so i can't really talk to him about that. and jim was there, but he spent the whoe time in these battletech pod things... it a gome of some sort.
but really i took a couple pics, but not a lot. it was so crowded catching up to someone ou wanted a pic of was hard, let alone taking the pic. i spent some time in the dealers room, but i didn't have a ton of money. so only so long could be spent. i did go to one panel thing. i went to the iron lolita contest, i walked in at the end, it was cool. they were making lolita style dresses with newspaper duck tape and plastic bags. it was hilarious. ^^
also on the second day i went to the pokemon battle road tournament, and just my luck in the first match i went up against someone who is in the top national rankings. luckily there weren't too many people so we all got to keep playing. ^^ my second round was against this little girl and she won because i drew only one sucky pokemon she knocked it out, so she won. it was hard to feel bad tho, she was so cute. ^^ next round was a bye, cuz there weren't enough players. and then i played a girl around my age, and i won. (finally!). we all got prizes from this little grab bag thing, and i got some cards, and a box with a gengar on it. ^^
it was fun. ^^

Mourning Hammy

My Hamster Whiskers passed away yesterday... she lived to be almost 2! pretty normal for a hamster. but we will miss her. T-T

What A Girl Wants

So Sam was over @ my house, and we were watching what a girl wants, when she is on the bus near the beginning of the movie there is a sign on the side of the bus that reads "You'll Never Forget Your First Time! Virgin Airlines"
and Sam and i CRACKED UP!!!!!!!!!! and Jim didn't get it at first... but when he did he freaked out!!! it was so funny. ^^
